I am currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Idaho CDA campus and work as a software developer/ systems integrator at Wapiti-Consulting. For research I have been developing and comparing Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) models to help with Amalgamated Sugars steam dryer. For work I fill a multidisciplinary role where my duties range from programming PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, Python integration software and or AI models to trouble shooting or starting new control systems out in the field. In my free time I have been working on improving my front end development skills, leadership capabilities, and understading best programming practices.
