I am currently a research scientist at the University of Idaho CDA campus and work as a software developer and systems integrator at Wapiti Consulting. As a Research Scientist at the Center for Intelligent Industrial Robotics (CIIR), I am beginning to manage graduate students working on industrial AI deployments, while continuing to understand and develope Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL) and Hybrid Models for manufactruring. In addition to research I have bee writing grants for local municiple water and wastewater systems to better the infastructure in North Idaho. At Wapiti, I fill a multidisciplinary role where my duties range from programming PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, Python integration software, and troubleshooting or starting new control systems out in the field. In my free time I have been working on improving my front end development skills, leadership capabilities, and understanding best programming practices.
